The Friends of the Great Swamp Sanctuary will host a "Walk and Talk" with Biologist Travis Folk. This is a free event that will start at the DeTreville St entrance. The 800-acre sanctuary features a network of boardwalks and trails through a pristine hardwood forest and black water bottomland. For more information visit 
"Becoming Harriet Tubman" is a one-woman show about how a young girl became an historical icon. Through narrative, music and five charcters based on real people, this 60 minute play compellingly portrays the legend of the former slave-turned abolitionist. This production will be held at the Palmetto Xperiment Theater operated by the Arts Council of Beaufort. Port Royal ans the Sea Islands. The theater is located at 2127 Boundary Street, uite 18A. 
The choir festival, featuring Brian Jones as director, will take place at the Parish Church of St Helena's in downtown Beaufort. Choirs include the St Helena Parish Choir, the St Helena RSCM Choir of Boys and Girls and members of choirs from Charlotte, NC, Bluffton and Hilton Head Island. This free concert is part of St Helena's Tricentennial celebration

The weather once again is soooo... South Carolina!!!
Starring and directed by Charlie Chaplin, "The Gold Rush" has long been unavailable in its original form, following Chaplin's 1942 sound version and his dictate that the original only be screened with a live orchestral accompaniment. Now in collaboration wth the Cineteca Bologna and the Chaplin Estate, Janus Films is proud to present a 35mm restoration of the film, complete with a newly recorded orchestral score.
As the weather continues to warm up, and things are in full bloom, the Friends of the Great Swamp Sanctuary will entice nature enthusiasts to go outside for a "Walk and Talk' through the Great Swamp Sanctuary with Master Gardener Genia Floyd. This is a free event. The walk will begin at the DeTreville St entrance. 
A favorite at this year's Beaufort International Film Festival, will screen at 5:30pm at the USCB Center for the Arts in Beaufort.
