| The Town of Port Royal is located between the Beaufort River and Battery Creek in the beautiful South Carolina Lowcountry. Port Royal is adjacent to the historic City of Beaufort, and near the Marine Corps Air Station, and Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot. The peaceful town of Port Royal is rich in history, art, and nature (see the Beaufort & Port Royal map).
Port Royal has a wide range of recreational activities including The Sands Beach,, the boardwalk & observation tower, and a boat ramp. These are all located at the southern most tip of Port Royal Island at the intersection of the Beaufort River and Battery Creek.
